Hi there, I am Jodi Wilson, I am formerly trained as a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. In addition to formal western medicine training, I have completed Master Usui Reiki Master training and actively practice as a Reiki practitioner. Besides practicing Reiki, I too am a crystal enthusiast. I am fascinated by the various vibrations’ that crystals have of which can be of added benefit to energy work and day to day living. Specific crystals are used for specific focuses (i.e., anxiety, manifesting, prosperity, calmness, protection, and strength to list a few). Blending my passion of Reiki and crystals together into energy work is peacefully serene. Observing formal western medicine training working symbiotically with holistic healing such as Reiki is literally pairing these two healing modalities to achieve overall wellness and vitality is soulfully gratifying
Reiki (ray·kee) a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Japanese in origin that literally translates to ‘universal life energy’
The name Reiki comes from the Japanese words “Rei”, which can translate to Universe and “Ki”, meaning energy…. or Universal Energy. It is a spiritual practice (not a religious affiliation) to promote holistic healing through the hands-on approach to balance one’s energy within.
